Title: Salmon with Pineapple Salsa
Categories: Entree Fish Fruit Salmon
Yield: 4 Servings

  SALSA:
1 1/2cDiced fresh pineapple or
  Drained canned unsweetened
  Chunks
1/4cMinced red bell pepper
1/4cMinced green bell pepper
1/4cMinced red onion
1/4cChopped fresh cilantro
1tbFresh lime juice
2 1/2tsMinced seeded jalapeno
  Chili
1/4tsGrated lime peel
  SALMON:
4 (6-8 ounce)
  Salmon steaks -- (3/4"
  Thick)
1tsLow-sodium soy sauce

SALSA: Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Season to taste with salt. (Can be prepared 6 hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)

SALMON: Preheat broiler. Brush salmon steaks with soy sauce and place on broiler pan. Broil until salmon is just opaque in center, about 3 minutes per side. Serve salmon, passing pineapple salsa separately.
